The Voting Information Project's open format is designed to be straightforward for states to implement. However, some state elections agencies may experience modest, one-time costs associated with collecting and formating their information. To assist with such costs, the JEHT Foundation and the Pew Charitable Trusts will offer state elections agencies up to $20,000 in funds to support their implementation.
